As a Colostrum Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for selecting and purchasing high-quality colostrum from suppliers within a designated area in the Netherlands. You will work closely with various departments, including quality control, production, and logistics, to ensure that the colostrum meets our strict standards and specifications. In this role, you will actively approach dairy farmers to participate in our supplier program. Additionally, you will be responsible for the logistics of colostrum collection.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of colostrum.
• Acquiring new colostrum suppliers
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine colostrum specifications.
• Monitor the quality of delivered colostrum.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any disputes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a completed MBO degree in a relevant field.
• Affinity with the agricultural sector.
• Proven experience as a buyer, preferably in the food or health industry.
• Relevant network within the agricultural sector.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a keen eye for quality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with various departments.
